The deadline of February 2nd is looming! Last chance for all you last-minute-types to get us your submissions for this year’s event! Get busy this weekend and create some art cause we want to see it!

For some of you who don’t know, we’ve been in touch with some of the very creative students in the Advertising program at Mohawk College. These students are working on a contest of their very own! Here’s what they had to stir up:
Brief:
Choose amongst the given love story film titles and use one of those movies to edit and create a 60 second movie trailer that portrays a horror film. The trailer must be for a movie that is HORROR in subject matter and you are only able to use clips from the love story movies that are provided. You must also create a poster that promotes your horror film, along with the title and all necessary details that a movie poster would entail (date of screening, actors involved, director (YOU) etc.). Feel free to use any music, voice overs, etc. to make your trailer as effective as possible.

Vanilla Sky (2001)
Our winner will be featured at Absorb - so keep your eyes out for a very cool trailer by one of the lucky talented students!
